Veterinary Technician
Sophia is a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist and Assistant with over six years of experience in veterinary medicine. Known for her calm presence, multitasking abilities, and deep love for animals, Sophia plays a vital role in ensuring both pets and their owners feel supported and cared for throughout every visit.
She began her formal journey into veterinary care at the Central Arizona Valley Institute of Technology (CAVIT), where she graduated in 2020 with hands-on training in veterinary assisting. Since then, she has continued to grow in the field, developing a strong skill set in client communication, appointment coordination, patient intake, basic animal handling, and clinic operations.
Beyond the clinic, Sophia lives on a small farm that’s become a reflection of her life’s purpose. Her home is shared with an eclectic and beloved collection of animals: ducks, chickens, goats, a donkey, three horses, five dogs, and six cats. Each animal is part of her extended family, and their care is woven into her everyday routine. Her connection to animals isn't just a profession—it’s a way of life.
In her free time, Sophia enjoys drawing, reading fantasy and fiction, writing creatively, and spending hours riding and bonding with her horses. These hobbies give her space to recharge and stay inspired, both creatively and professionally.
