Dr. Audie Wood is a dedicated veterinarian with a strong commitment to community-centered animal care. After earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, she remained at Colorado State University as a teaching assistant, mentoring incoming veterinary students and developing a passion for both clinical practice and education.

Dr. McWhirter grew up in western Kansas, the son of a farmer/rancher. He received his undergraduate degree from Kansas State University and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State Veterinary College.

Dr. Vlcek was born and raised in Arizona and currently lives in Apache Junction. She attended the University of Arizona and graduated in 2020 with a Bachelors in Veterinary Science with a Minor in Biochemistry.

Dr. Williams is a passionate and driven individual originally from the Midwest. With a deep love for animals and a strong sense of purpose. She has set an inspiring long-term goal: to one day own and operate a mobile veterinary clinic. Beyond professional ambitions, Dr. Williams is a creative spirit with a love for storytelling in all its forms.

Katelyn has been dedicated to the veterinary field since 2016, bringing nearly a decade of hands-on experience and compassionate leadership to her role as Hospital Director. Her commitment to animal care is matched by her strong belief in building a supportive,and client-focused veterinary team.

With over 19 years of experience as a veterinary technician, I have dedicated my life to the health and well-being of animals. My journey began in Phoenix, Arizona, where I developed a deep love for animals—since I was a child—and turned that passion into a lifelong career.

Abel is a veterinary technician and Dr. Wood’s right-hand man. He has been with Coolidge Veterinary Hospital since graduating high school and completing the CAVIT program 11 years ago.

Emily is compassionate and dedicated as a veterinary technician with a passion for animal care and client education. Committed to supporting pets and their people through skilled, empathetic care in every interaction.

I started working at Coolidge Veterinary Hospital in May 2019 while enrolled in the Veterinary Assistant program at CAVIT.

Sophia is a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist and Assistant with over six years of experience in veterinary medicine. Known for her calm presence, multitasking abilities, and deep love for animals, Sophia plays a vital role in ensuring both pets and their owners feel supported and cared for throughout every visit.

I am a Carrington College graduate and new to the veterinary field, with a growing passion for animal care and helping in any way I can.

As a Lead Receptionist, she is dedicated to providing exceptional service, fostering positive relationships, and contributing to a harmonious environment for both clients and colleagues. . With over 30 years in the veterinary field, she has developed a deep understanding of animal care and client relations, ensuring a compassionate and efficient experience for both pets and their owners.
