Dr. Audie Wood

Founder, Owner

DVM

Dr. Audie Wood is a dedicated veterinarian with a strong commitment to community-centered animal care. After earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, she remained at Colorado State University as a teaching assistant, mentoring incoming veterinary students and developing a passion for both clinical practice and education.

In 1983, Dr. Wood returned to her home state of Arizona, where she quickly identified the need for veterinary care in the growing community of Florence. This led to the founding of her second veterinary practice in Coolidge, Arizona, in 1988, starting as a small, one-doctor practice. With a clear vision for accessible, high-quality veterinary care, Dr. Wood led the hospital through three major expansions—introducing advanced surgical suites, cutting-edge diagnostic equipment, and expanding her team of skilled veterinary professionals. Today, Coolidge Veterinary Hospital has grown into a full-service, multi-doctor facility, serving clients across the region while maintaining the compassionate care it was built on.

Dr. Wood continues to lead the hospital with a hands-on approach, blending medical excellence with a deep, ongoing commitment to enhancing the lives of both pets and their human companions.
